A free decision tool

Make a plan to restart a missed habit.

Four questions. One honest next move. Decide whether the habit should continue, shrink, move, pause or end—without turning the missed opportunity into a verdict about you.

A winding path made from pressed fern leaves pauses, then continues toward a fresh green sprout on handmade paper.

Private by default. Your answers stay in this page. They are not sent to Meliorly or stored by this tool. Copy, download or print only when you choose.

1. What was the first point of friction?
2. Has the same friction happened before?
3. What fits the next opportunity?
4. Can you name the next real opportunity?

Choose an answer to each of the four questions to make your plan.

A worked example

The evening walk that keeps getting missed.

This is an illustrative plan, not a customer outcome. Imagine that late finishes keep displacing your evening walk. The walk still matters, an ordinary walk fits tomorrow, and you can name the end of your lunch break as the next opportunity.

Your answers
The time disappeared · It keeps happening · The ordinary version · Yes, I can name it
The planner suggests
Move the plan. Try a different event or setting for the next two opportunities, then review what changed.
A concrete next step
After I put my lunch plate away, I will walk around the block. If time is tight, I will walk to the end of the street and back.

You choose the action and its size. The planner helps you decide what to change; it does not know your circumstances or guarantee a result.
