What Meliorly’s AI Coach can—and cannot—see.

An AI habit coach needs enough context to answer the message in front of it. It does not need every fact in your account. Meliorly keeps the model request limited to the same habit and names the boundaries here.

What a model-generated reply can receive.

  • The current message being answered.
  • At most 12 recent turns and 4,000 characters from the same habit’s Coach thread.
  • The approved plan and tiny version for that habit.
  • Limited momentum figures, such as the programme day and recent completed or partial days.
  • A small, relevant set of memory notes that you confirmed.

What is kept out of that request.

Your account identity

The model does not receive your email address or account identifier.

Another habit’s conversation

A message about one habit does not pull in the Coach thread from another.

Unconfirmed memory

Proposed, rejected and deleted memory notes are not reused as confirmed context.

Unrelated free text

Free-text event and check-in notes are not added to the model request.

Coach memory is visible and controllable.

The Coach may propose a short memory note. It does not become confirmed memory silently: you can confirm, correct, reject or later delete it. Only a bounded set of confirmed notes can be selected when relevant to a later reply.

Model context and stored history are not the same thing.

Meliorly can store the full Coach history so you can reopen, export or delete it. A later model request is still restricted to the bounded same-thread window described above. An encrypted, account-bound cache on your device may also hold recent messages and memory notes for offline reopening.

Your controls.

  • Inspect, correct, reject and delete Coach memory notes.
  • Export the data attached to your account.
  • Withdraw an optional privacy choice.
  • Delete the live account data from inside the app.

Encrypted database backups expire within their stated retention window rather than disappearing instantly. The complete legal description is in the privacy notice, with separate account-deletion instructions.

The product boundary matters too.

Meliorly is an AI coach for self-directed everyday habits. It does not diagnose health conditions and does not treat them. It is not a substitute for a licensed professional or an emergency service.
